Services Policy
Effective Date: [1st January, 2026]
This Services Policy outlines the standards, delivery methods, and mutual expectations for the consultancy services provided by The FB Transitions (FBT). Our goal is to ensure a professional, transparent, and effective transition process for every family enterprise.
1. The "One-Stop Solution" Framework
FBT provides an integrated approach combining technical expertise (Chartered Accountants and Legal Advisors) with emotional intelligence. Our services are delivered across five core pillars:
- Assessment & Diagnostics
- Succession Planning
- Legacy Preservation
- Governance & Mentoring
- Legal & Structural Support
2. Service Delivery & Timelines
- Digital Diagnostics: Access to web-based evaluations is typically granted within [24–48 hours] of payment confirmation.
- Audit Reports: “Sustainability Audit” reports are generally delivered within [7–14 business days] after all family participants have completed their evaluations.
3. Client Cooperation & Participation
The success of a transition plan depends on the active participation of the family. FBT requires:
- Timely access to necessary financial and legal documentation.
- The availability of both current “Senior” leadership and “Next Gen” successors for interviews or mentoring sessions.
- Neutrality: While FBT facilitates discussions, we remain a neutral third party. We do not take “sides” in family disputes but work toward the collective health of the business.
4. Professional Standards
- Expertise: All legal and financial frameworks are reviewed by qualified professionals (Chartered Accountants or Legal Consultants).
- Mentoring: Leadership development sessions are conducted by experienced consultants trained in family business dynamics.
- Modification of Scope: Any requests to add services (e.g., adding a new family branch to the audit) after the project has started will be treated as a “Change Order” and may incur additional fees.
5. Limitation of Structural Support
While FBT assists with Legal & Structural Support (such as drafting trust documentation and financial frameworks), the client is responsible for:
- Paying all government-mandated registration fees, stamp duties, or filing taxes.
- Ensuring the final execution of documents (signing and notarization) as per the laws of Pakistan or the relevant international jurisdiction.
6. Conflict of Interest
If a conflict of interest arises between different family members that prevents FBT from performing its duties neutrally, FBT reserves the right to pause services until the family reaches a baseline consensus or to withdraw from the engagement to maintain professional integrity.
7. Global vs. Local Services
For international clients, FBT adapts frameworks to comply with relevant local regulations; however, the client is advised to have all FBT-drafted documents reviewed by local counsel in their specific country of residence to ensure 100% compliance with regional statutes.
